Deadlines

Early Application
Apply early to waive the application fee. You must submit a fee waiver request form and wait for it to be processed before you submit your program application.
May 15
Priority Application
Recommended deadline for scholarship consideration and for international applicants who will need to apply for a U.S. visa.
July 1
Final Deadline
You may still be considered for scholarships.
Applications are reviewed on a rolling, space-available basis.
Application Requirements
Applicants are to submit all required credentials and supporting documentation no later than the application deadlines listed below.
If you wish to take the Concentration in Applied AI in Systems Medicine, or if you are a you are a Georgetown B.S. in Human Science student interested in the Accelerated M.S. in Systems Medicine, you will designate your preference in the Program tab of the application:
- Systems Medicine (M.S.)
- Systems Medicine (M.S.) – Applied AI in Systems Medicine
- Systems Medicine (M.S.) Accelerated – GU Students Only
International Applicants
Please note that the visa application process can take weeks or months and varies based on your country of origin. To help ensure that students receive their visas in time for registration, the program suggests that applications to the program should be completed by the May 15 priority deadline. In the event that visas are not received in time, admitted students may defer their admission one time to a future open term. There is no additional admissions application fee charge for the one-time deferral.

Tuition & Funding

Loans: Visit the Private Loans for Graduate Students page for Georgetown University’s list of preferred lenders. BGE students may also be eligible for Federal Direct Unsubsidized Loans.
Scholarships: Our students may be eligible for multiple scholarships from our program and Georgetown University Biomedical Graduate Education.

M.D./M.S. Application (GUSOM Students)
Students in the Georgetown School of Medicine may apply for an M.D./M.S. dual degree. Applicants must be in their second or third year of medical school, and should schedule an informational interview with Dr. Sona Vasudevan, Program Director of Systems Medicine, before applying.
Accelerated Master’s (GU HSCI Students)
Undergraduate students in the Georgetown University B.S. in Human Science program may be eligible to complete our Master of Science program on an accelerated timeline.
